The Property
Pokolbin Cottages is set on 15 acres of natural Australian bushland with pockets of parkland and shaded lawn. Set back from Hermitage road, yet in the heart of the Pokolbin vineyards, our cottages bring you the best of both worlds!
If you’re looking for self-catering accommodation, our cottages with full kitchens, dishwashers carefully selected glassware, dishes and cookware fit the bill. Our property manager can even have your Coles online order waiting in your fridge ready for arrival.
Or if you’d rather be spoilt – a two-minute walk will have you at Iron Bark Hill Brewery and Bistro, or head to Yellow Billy for the Kings Feast! Take advantage of our locally made chef cooked meals, ready to warm and eat. These can be arranged prior to your visit and left in your cottage fridge to greet you. Next door, Two Fat Blokes’ Gourmet deli and coffee shop can satisfy your between meal cravings and morning caffeine addiction.

Common Room
Our common room and pool area is available for guests to share, or if your group books the whole property, this can be setup specifically for your event (find out more about group events).
The common room is mostly enclosed with one wall partially open to the pool area, creating a relaxing feel. The rustic welcoming setup includes a large open fireplace, pool table, dart board, dining tables and chairs.
The common room has 3 guest bathrooms which can also be used by anyone who may be camping or caravanning on the property.
Village Green
The parklike Village Green is a great place for a game of cricket, yoga, or why not setup a portable projector for your group’s movie night.
Adjacent to the common room, the village green also makes the perfect location for catering trucks and mobile bars to setup to service outdoor events, or to provide catering in the common room and deck area.
Camping & Caravanning
There is ample parking for caravans, camper trailers and horse floats so for travellers looking for a few nights of indulgence, you can park up your van and stay in a comfy cottage.
Staying in your caravan, camper or motorhome is ONLY allowable if the whole property is booked by your group. Additional fees apply for camping and guest must setup in allocated areas. Toilet and shower facilities are available adjacent to the common room.
Play Ground & Pool
Pokolbin Cottages welcome families with children and provide an inground pool and a small playground.
Both should be used under adult supervision. Parents are reminded that Pokolbin Cottages in NOT fenced and young children should be supervised at all times, especially in close proximity to the road and in the pool area.
